I asked Madeline what she was doing when I found her like this. She said, "I need chocolate!" I guess sometimes we all need a little chocolate, but apparently Madeline needed A LOT!

Hannah always hated chocolate. Around the time she turned 12 one day she came to me and said mom, i really NEED chocolotae, right now! I'm serious. I'll babysit so you can go buy me some."
I said "welcome, you are now on your way to womanhood." (she didn't appreciate that, but she appreciated me showing her that chocolate chips will do in a pinch).
Now i can show her that nesquik can also serve as a satisfying fix.
